What are the opening times at Langton Greenhouse?
We're open 7 days a week. Our opening times are below:
Monday: 9am - 5pm
Tuesday: 9am - 5pm
Wednesday: 9am - 5pm
Thursday: 9am - 5pm
Friday: 9am - 5pm
Saturday: 9am - 5pm
Sunday: 10am - 4pm
Are dogs allowed in the garden centre?
Yes, dogs are welcome in our garden centre, provided they are kept under control and owners follow our dog policy.
What if my dog has an accident in the garden centre?
If your dog has an accident, please clean up after them immediately and dispose of any waste responsibly. Dog owners are responsible for their pets at all times while visiting the garden centre.
Can I bring my dog into the Food Hall?
For health and safety reasons, we don't allow dogs inside our Food Hall. Assistance dogs are welcome where required by law.
What happens if my dog is disruptive?
We ask that all dogs are well behaved while visiting. If a dog is excessively barking, aggressive, or causing a disturbance to other customers, we reserve the right to ask the owner and dog to leave the premises.
Does Langton Greenhouse provide accessibility support for wheelchair users?
Yes – we welcome visitors of all abilities. The garden centre is mostly flat, with ramps provided where required.
Is there parking at Langton Greenhouse?
Yes – we’ve got a huge car park on site, including disabled spaces and plenty of room for campervans or motorhomes.
Are there toilets at Langton Greenhouse?
Yes our on-site toilets are located in our Greenhouse Cafe.
Does Langton Greenhouse accept HTA garden vouchers?
Yes, we’re part of the HTA Garden Vouchers program at Langton Greenhouse, and you can buy them from us too.
Garden Centre 🪴
How Long Does An Order Take To Arrive?
International orders normally arrive within 2-4 weeks of shipping. Please note that these orders need to pass through the customs office in your country before it will be released for final delivery, which can occasionally cause additional delays. Once an order leaves our warehouse, carrier shipping delays may occur due to factors outside our control. We, unfortunately, can’t control how quickly an order arrives once it has left our warehouse. Contacting the carrier is the best way to get more insight into your package’s location and estimated delivery date.
How Do I Set Up A Subscription Order?
We will deliver products to you as soon as reasonably possible. Orders are usually dispatched between 1-3 days from the date of the order being placed. Please contact us our customer service team if your delivery has not been received within the dates described.
How To Return My Items?
We do not currently offer free returns to overseas customers. You will therefore need to cover all costs of returning any items to us yourself. We advise that you mark your package ‘returned goods’ to avoid further duties. Remember: We strongly recommend that you return any items via a registered trackable service and obtain and retain proof of posting as we do not accept responsibility for items that fail to arrive with us.
How Can I Choose The Right Size For Me?
Habitat has created a universal sizing system that aims to provide a unique reference for all countries. You can easily spot the best size for you by referring to our Size Guide that provides a conversion table to all major country size systems.

Which Payment Methods Do You Accept?
Habitat accepts the following payment methods for online purchases:
• All major credit cards, as shown at checkout
• PayPal: if you do not have an account yet, you can create one while shopping with us
• Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay
Please note that your billing address must match the address on your credit card statement.
How Can I Track My Order?
Once you place your order online, you will be able to see the details of the purchase, follow its preparation, and see shipping updates in the My Account area.

Our Greenhouse Cafe is open 7 days a week. Please see the times below:

Can I reserve or book a table at the Greenhouse Cafe?
Our Greenhouse Cafe operates on a walk-in only basis and does not take bookings or reservations.
For private events or group bookings, please contact us directly.

Can I book an event or hire out the Greenhouse Cafe?
We can host a variety of events, including weddings, birthdays, and other special occasions. Please contact our cafe team to discuss availability and options:

What's your busiest time in the Greenhouse Cafe?
Our busiest times are weekends and between 12 and 1pm. Please expect queuing at this time.
Online Orders
How Long Does An Order Take To Arrive?
Most orders are processed within 1–2 business days before shipping. Standard deliveries typically take 3–7 business days, depending on your location and the shipping method selected. Local deliveries are usually made on Wednesdays or Saturdays.
Whats your Local Delivery policy?
1. Delivery Area
We deliver within a 13‑mile radius of our site at Langton Greenhouse & Garden Centre, LE16 7TG. Orders outside this zone will not be accepted for local delivery under this policy.
2. Delivery Charge
A standard delivery fee of £9.99 applies to orders under £200 (excluding VAT and any additional charges).
Free delivery is offered for orders at or above £200 (excluding VAT).
3. Delivery Schedule
We provide local deliveries every Tuesday and Saturday.
Orders received by midday the day before a given delivery day will be scheduled for the next available delivery, subject to availability. Orders received later will be booked onto the following delivery date.
4. Time Notifications
We will contact you the day before your scheduled delivery (by email or phone) to confirm a time slot.
On the delivery day, we will call approximately 30 minutes before arrival to let you know we are en route.
5. Kerbside Delivery Only
Deliveries are made to the kerbside only, unless by prior arrangement. We do not carry items indoors or into gardens.
6. Order Changes & Cancellations
Any changes or cancellations must be made by 1 pm the day before the scheduled delivery.
After that time (or on the delivery day), we reserve the right to charge the full delivery fee (£9.99), unless exceptional circumstances apply.
7. Unattended Deliveries
If no one is available to receive the delivery at the agreed address, the order will be returned to our facility. In this event, responsibility for any delays or additional costs lies with the customer, and a redelivery fee may apply. We are not liable for any inconvenience or loss resulting from missed or unattended deliveries.
8. Damaged or Incorrect Items
Upon delivery, please inspect your items before signing.
If there is any damage or incorrect goods delivered, please notify us within 24 hours. We will arrange a suitable resolution (replacement or refund).
Please note that if an item is not damaged or incorrect, it is subject to our normal returns policy, and the physical return of the goods is the customer's responsibility.
9. Liability
We accept liability only for items once they are signed for at kerbside.
We are not responsible for items once they have been delivered to kerbside, unless there is clear evidence of damage arising during transit.
10. Terms of Use
By placing a delivery order, you agree to abide by these terms.
We reserve the right to amend these terms at any time; any changes will apply to orders placed after the date of amendment.

In-store Purchases
Can I return or exchange items bought in-store?
Yes – you can return or exchange items purchased in-store within 14 days of the purchase date. Please note returns will be issued as a credit note unless the product is defected.
Do you offer refunds for in-store purchases?
No – we do not offer refunds for in-store purchases. If you are not happy with your product, we can provide a store credit note or an exchange.
How long do I have to return an in-store purchase?
You have 14 days from the date of purchase to return your item(s).
Can I use a store credit online?
Yes – store credit can be used for any online purchase. At checkout, enter your credit note code in the gift code box to apply it.
Are all in-store items “sold as seen”?
Yes – all in-store items are sold as seen, and we do not order in additional products.
